Powder Coat
All powder-coated parts are run through our 7-stage zinc pretreatment system to ensure adhesion and superior corrosion resistance.
With powder coating, finely ground particles of pigment and resin are electrostatically
charged and sprayed onto products to be coated.
The parts to be coated are electrically ground so the charged particles adhere to them
until melted and fused into a solid coating in a curing oven.
On-site rack burn-off capabilites to ensure quick processing of coated racks
thus providing clean part contact.
Line 1 - 24" x 48" work opening.
Line 2 - 36" x 72" work opening.
Aquence (Autophoretic)
Line size - 24" x 48"
Aquence is a water-based technology which is environment friendly and is revolutionizing
portions of the coating industry.
Unlike E-Coat, Aquence is an organic polymetric emulsion which chemically deposits on a clean metal
substrate without the use of powder.
Ferrotec uses an 800 series product which cures at just over 100°C.
This allows for coating of rubber impregnated assemblies and other complex parts without heat distortion
or degradation.
PVC Dip (Plastisol)
P.V.C. (Plastisol) coating is generally used as an insulator for part protection on hose clamps,
perishable tools and grips, along with other various automotive and general uses.
We have the ability to provide alternative durometers (hardness) as well as high-temperature P.V.C.
coatings. We stock black coating in-house; however, we can provide almost any color
per customer request.
Zinc Phosphate
Our heavy Zinc Phosphate line is used for smaller components and fasteners. This process provides up to 96 hour Salt Spray protection.
